Ambient for our school at the fair

From Thursday to Saturday, we all were at the stock exchange and told future students and parents what we're up to all day long.
Our time is best summarized by the following film - on Saturday we had the cam rolling for 2 hours, even tho it was probably the calmest of those three days. Perhaps because there were only people who really wanted to be there and not those 10,000 students who were forced to the fair that ran down our booth the days before :)
Have fun!

The unique thing about our booth: We came up with the opportunity for fairgoers to get their very own poster. Crafted live before their very eyes.
We hoped for the best, but kids literally ran down our booth, thus, we had to put them off, cause we just couldn't handle them all.

After three days, we all felt drained, but were super happy with the outcome of our visit to the fair. We had marvellous chats, empty leaflet-boxes, amazing lunch at coa's, lotsa sun and close to 100 crazy grotesque faces. In the end we did not only tinkered dozens of balloons, but met even more great people and hopefully future students. (Even germany's biggest news-paper showed up!)

Hüpfen, Fallbeispiel #001

Hüpfen, ein Fallbeispiel.

This video served as some sort of teaser to show my dean, what my exam will be all about. I know the quality sucks big time, but i fulfills its purpose, and therefor i'm quite proud of my cellphone :)

...more impressions after the break.

Big thanks to Hosh for the generous hospitality, Tina for not-being-the-only-girl-at-the-bbq, Dad for not squaeling (broken inventory...must have been someoone else...), Mom from keeping me from jumping off the balcony and the iceman for the exquisite sugar rush.

Young Creatives for Cannes, Germany (Second!)

A few weeks ago, WerbeWeischer called out for a Young Blood contest. Brief was to create a thank-you-poster for all those extremely devoted St.Pauli-Fans. FC St.Pauli is like one of the most crazy clubs Germany has ever seen, so the bar's already raised pretty high.
We stumbled over this contest like only in the week, they extended the deadline.
So we had 2 days for idea, execution, production and sending it out.
And there was a catch: only use gettyimages.
I just returned from my internship at jungvonmatt, so i was sorta fed-up with stock-images :)

Read on...

After one whole day jsut for the conception, we decided on two ideas. Put up a temporary agency in my flat, Pavel took on the skin-ball and i embraced the zombie-motif. Thanks to our "Späti", lotsa strawberry-juice, my gorgeous 80s-playlist, Pavel's exquisit sense of humor and at least 2000 disturbing stock-images of naked or molested women (why, please?), we finished two artworks and sent them out the next day...and then...we waited...

...and it was worth it. We did not only made it on the shortlist, but scored 2nd. 2nd, photofinish with serviceplan and my former employer jungvonmatt (personal victory ;)).
The girls from KNSK scored first, congratz to the trip to Cannes and the 10x10m poster. Cheers!

Interkulturelle Woche...again

Again - we did this year's poster for the intercultural week in Germany. Just like the dwarfs in last-year's competition, the council chose our idea once again. This time - typography only. Made off photos, i shot in my very Frankfurt.

(Official site, where you can order the poster :))
